How to Create a Ladybug Costume

Follow these steps to make a costume that will make your little girl look and feel as cute as a bug!

Things You'll Need:

• Antennae On A Headband
• Black Pants
• Black Masks
• Black Permanent Markers
• Large Piece Of Red Poster Board
• 2 Large Safety Pins
• Ladybug Costume

1. Place a large piece of red poster board on a flat surface. Draw a circle 24 inches in diameter.

2. Color large, evenly-spaced black dots inside the circle.

3. Draw a straight line down the middle of the circle.

4. Cut out the circle. Then, cut down the line, dividing the circle into two wings.

5. Dress your child in her black clothing.

6. Attach the wings, with the straight edges facing each other, to the shirt from underneath with safety pins. Make sure the safety pins are hidden from view.

7. Place a mask and antennae on your child.

Tips & Warnings

• For small children, cut out a smaller circle for the wings. For adults, make the circle as large as the poster board will allow.
