Pads of paper are very handy for writing down lists or doodling. Having a pad comes in very handy in the house, car or office. You can make your own pad of paper easily with any design or list on it that you want, or you can even make it blank. Using just a few items, you can make a pad of paper in under an hour. These pads also make wonderful gifts for family members or friends if you personalize them just a bit.
Things You'll Need
- Scissors or paper cutter
- 2 wooden rulers
- 2 paper binder clips or clamps
- Notepad adhesive
- Foam paintbrush
Cut your paper sheets to the desired size. They can be as small as 2 inches square, or as large as an entire sheet of copy paper. If the paper is larger, it starts to get unwieldy.
Line the paper up along a straight edge.
Place one ruler on top of the paper along the straight edge and another ruler on the bottom along the same straight edge. They should be even with the edge of the paper.
Place two or three paper binder clips around the paper and rulers, holding them firmly together. If you don't have binder clips, you can also use clamps from your toolbox.
Paint the adhesive onto the edge that is between the rulers. Allow to dry for roughly 10 minutes, or according to package instructions.
Paint another coat of adhesive on to the edge, allowing to dry afterward. You will need two to four coats of adhesive.
Remove the clamps and rulers for a finished pad of paper.
