In fact, fixing the clock's time setting is much easier than it appears, allowing you to reset the time in moments.

      Place the ignition key into the car's ignition switch and turn it on. You do not need to start the motor.

      Press and hold the A.SEL side of the A.SEL/SCAN button on an LX model's radio. Press and hold the AM button on an EX or EXL model's radio. Release the button once the radio beeps. The clock's time setting should be blinking at this time.

      Press the radio's Preset 6 button (LX model) or the Preset 3 button (EX/EX-L models) to reset the time setting to 12:00, if necessary.

      Adjust the hour setting with the radio's Preset 4 button (LX model) or the Preset 1 button (EX/EX-L models). Press the button once to advance the hours one by one, or hold the button down to advance through the hours quickly.

      Adjust the minutes setting with the radio's Preset 5 button (LX model) or the Preset 2 button (EX/EX-L models). Press the button once to advance the minutes one by one or hold the button down to advance through the minutes quickly.

      Press the A.SEL side of the A.SEL/SCAN button (LX model) or the AM button (EX/EX-L models) to finish setting the clock. Turn the ignition off and remove the key.

  • CRV models equipped with a GPS navigation system automatically adjust the time settings according to the signals received by the GPS satellite system. Contact your local Honda dealership if the clock does not display the correct time.
