How to Set up a 2003 Proxy Server
The Windows 2003 operating system was released for enterprise networks as a main server system for small to large networks. However, some small home networks too enjoy the benefits of running a server operating system. You need to enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) in Windows 2003, which is a service that allows you to use the server as a proxy. This means other users on the network will connect to the proxy server for Internet access.
