1
Lay down one of the 10-inch squares flat on your workspace. Set your 10-by-20 piece below it, aligning the 10-inch sides. Set the other 10-inch square below the 10-by-20 and align the 10-inch sides. This gives you a set of pieces which make a 10-by-40-inch long rectangle.

2
Position the three pieces of cardboard so they have a ¼-inch gap between each piece. Run a piece of duct tape over each gap to connect the pieces in a row and form seams. Flip the three connected pieces over and place duct tape across the seams on the other side.

Set your 40-inch long piece of cardboard next to your connected three pieces. Adjust the cardboard pieces so there is a ¼-inch gap between the pieces.

Place duct tape over the long gap to connect these pieces. Flip the unit over and run a second strip of duct tape over the seam on the other side.

5
Fold pants by laying them out on the cardboard and bringing the waist up until it reaches the top edge of the cardboard. Fold over the long side first along the seam to fold the pants in half. Fold the bottom piece up followed by folding the top piece down. Your trousers should end up folded and resting on the 10-by-20-inch piece of cardboard.
