How to Use a Marson Rivet Gun
Marson is a brand of pneumatically powered rivet guns that effectively use air pressure to force rivets (small, bulbous pieces of metal) into holes in adjoining pieces of metal, forcing them together. Using a Marson rivet gun is a reasonably easy process, culminating in an easy squeeze of a handle to complete the riveting process.

1
Drill small holes in the pieces of metal you will be riveting together. Measure very carefully to ensure the positioning of holes on the two pieces match up, and use a small drill bit so the rivet just fits through the hole. If the rivet fits snugly into the hole, the rivet will be sturdier than a loosely fitting rivet.

2
Load the rivet gun by inserting the long, thin end (the pin) of the rivet into the nozzle of the rivet gun. The rivet will lock into place in preparation of being pneumatically forced into the hole.

3
Push the rivet into the holes in the two pieces of metal. This puts the rivet into position ahead of the squeezing of the handle.
-
4
Squeeze the two handles of the rivet gun together. This will cause the rivet to contract and secure the metal pieces together. The pin should break off the rivet when the rivet has contracted; if it doesn't, simply release the handle and squeeze again.
