Jacuzzi bathtubs feature a patented hydrotherapy jet system powered by 50 percent air and 50 percent water to create a gentle, soothing massage that can help improve circulation and reduce muscle and joint stiffness. The bathtubs are designed to give you a spa experience in the privacy and convenience of your own home. It's fast and easy to turn the jets on and off, and adjust them as needed. The same instructions apply to the Jacuzzi Luxury Pure Air and Luxury Salon Spa bathtub models.
How Jacuzzi Jets Work
The majority of Jacuzzi jets are adjustable, giving each user an individualized experience. You can adjust the jets to pinpoint and massage a specific body part, such as your lower back or calves, as well as control the amount of pressure each jet delivers.
Turning the Jets On and Off
Press the Jacuzzi's blower button, located on the bathtub's control panel, one time to turn it on and activate the jets. The blower is on an automatic timer and will run for 20 minutes.
To turn the blower off, press the blower button one more time. There will be a delay of 15 to 20 seconds to allow the blowers time to cool down. The last blower setting will automatically resume the next time you turn it on.
If the chromatherapy lighting mode is on, press the blower button one time to resume operation, and then a second time to turn the power to the blower off. LED chromatherapy lights, which are installed below the water line and come in soothing colors such as blue and green, are meant to add to the relaxing spa-like experience.
Increasing and Decreasing Jet Speed
To increase the blower jet speed, simply press the (+) button. There are eight speeds in total, so press the button in increments to slowly increase the speed. To decrease the speed, press the (-) button.
The indicator light will let you know what speed the blowers are on. If one light is on, the speed is at a level of 1 or 2; if two lights are on, it's at a level of 3 or 4; if three lights are on, it's at a level of 5 or 6; and if four lights are on, it's at a high level of 7 or 8.
You can also press the "wave" or "pulse" buttons as desired while the blower is on.
