Applying drywall texture is a unique way to change a room.

Changing the decor in a room can be very expensive. Texturing drywall is a unique, affordable way to change a room. Texturing also covers up drywall imperfections. Give the walls a country feel by making a lacy texture with a trowel in crescent moon shapes, or go modern with a sponge texture in which you just press and lift. Many people like the thick rough troweled look with peaks, nooks and crannies in the texture, which looks like rough Spanish stucco. Doing it yourself is very rewarding. Textured walls turn out to be a piece of art, handcrafted by you. Does this Spark an idea?
