How to Completely Remove AnyDVD From a Computer

When it comes to burning DVDs, you'll find that you have many choices. One of the many programs on the market is AnyDVD, and while some PC users find this to be the right program for them, it may not be the right program for you. If you've recently downloaded and installed AnyDVD only to find that it doesn't work for you, then you may be looking to completely remove AnyDVD from your computer. Luckily, this is a simple procedure.

  • Make sure AnyDVD is not running on your PC. If it is, then close it.

  • Click "Start" > "Control Panel."

  • Double-click the "Add or Remove Programs" icon in Windows XP or click the "Programs and Features" icon in Windows Vista/7.

  • Select "AnyDVD." Click "Remove."

  • Click "Yes" when asked if you want to remove the program. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to exit the uninstaller.

  • Double-click the "Computer" or "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Navigate to "C:\Program Files."

  • Right-click the "AnyDVD" icon and select "Delete."

  • Right-click the "Recycle Bin" icon on your desktop and select "Empty Recycle Bin."

  • Click "Start" > "Shutdown" > "Restart." After rebooting, AnyDVD will be completely removed from your computer.
