How to Burn Vob Files in Nero

Save

Nero is a disc authoring program that allows you to rip the contents of CDs and DVDs and burn the files that are created within the same software. You can also burn a wide variety of files that you already have saved on your computer to a blank disc using Nero. A Video Object (VOB) file is a format that contains a large amount of the video information contained on the DVD. This file can be found in the “VIDEO_TS” folder that is created after a disc is ripped onto your computer’s hard drive.

  • Open the Nero disc authoring program on your computer.

  • Start a new project and select “Nero Burning ROM” from the list of available options.

  • Select “DVD” from the dropdown menu in the top lefthand corner of the “New Compilation” window.

  • Click on the “DVD Video” icon in the box on the left side of the window.

  • Click the “New” button on the right side of the window.

  • Click the “Open” button at the top of the Nero window, and choose the VOB files you wish to add to Nero.

  • Click the “Burn” icon, which is a disc with a match over top of it. This will open the “Burn Compilation” window. Click the “Burn” button on the right side of the window.
