How to Make Christmas Brooches
Whether you're brainstorming ideas for gifts or stocking stuffers or just want to put a little holiday spirit in your own wardrobe, consider making Christmas brooches. Seasonal brooches can be created inexpensively, often with items from around your home or discount shops. You'll be able to say, "I made that!" along with the usual "ho, ho, ho" and "happy holidays."

1
Lay paper towels down on a table and place a large circle pin face-up in the middle. Draw lines of glue all around the front of the pin, and press pine needles into the glue, covering the entire face of the pin. Wipe away any excess glue with a paper towel. Let dry.
-
2
Cut a strand from a burned-out/broken string of Christmas lights long enough to go around the outer circle of the pin. Glue the strand and lights, and press them onto the pin, holding until they stay on securely.

3
Dab more dots of glue around the middle of the pin (on top of the pine needles), and sprinkle them with silver glitter (don't worry about being exact, the glue dots will secure the glitter). Let dry, then turn the pin over and shake to get rid of any excess glitter.
-
4
Glue the backside of a mini Santa figurine into the left area of the button. Press firmly until secure.
-
5
Glue the backside of a mini reindeer figurine into the right area of the button. Hold securely until it sticks to the pin.
