How to Clean Ugg Boots With Vinegar

Clean your Ugg boots often to remove road grit.

Ugg boots are made for both men and women. They are made from sheepskin and have a soft fleece covering on the inside. Uggs have the advantage of helping to keep your feet warm and dry in the winter. Unfortunately, wearing them in the winter also means they are more susceptible to stains from snow, slush and salted road grit. Clean your Ugg boots with vinegar to help keep them looking their best.

Things You'll Need

• Vinegar
• Water
• Bowl
• Cloth
• Boot holder
• Paper towels

Instructions

1. Mix vinegar and water together in a bowl. Use an equal amount of each.

2. Dip a clean cloth in the bowl and wring the excess liquid from it.

3. Wipe the exterior of each boot with the cloth, dipping it back into the vinegar solution as often as needed. Do not saturate the boots with liquid.

4. Dry your Ugg boots gradually, away from a direct heat source. Placing them next to a heater or a fireplace can cause them to lose their shape. Instead, place them over a boot holder or stuff paper towels into them. Allow them to fully dry.
