      Hold a dry rag under the squeaking hinge to prevent lubricant drips.

      Apply spray lubricant to the part of the hinge that bends to allow the door to swing open and shut. Spray a small amount, and catch any excess run-off with your dry rag.

      Open and close the door to allow the lubricant to penetrate the moving parts.

      Use your screwdriver to tighten all of the screws on the hinges. Turn the screwdriver in a clockwise motion while on the screw. Your hinge should now be silent.
