Replacing a taillight is something that many of us will have to do at some point in the life of our vehicle. Just about anyone can complete this task at home in only a few minutes. Not much in terms of tools or preparation is needed to complete this job. Once you are finished replacing the taillights, you can get back on the road safely.
Things You'll Need
- New taillight
Park the Alto in your driveway or garage.
Open the trunk and remove the cover behind the burned-out taillight by removing the securing screws with the screwdriver.
Pull the light fixture out of the housing toward the inside of the trunk.
Pull out the burned-out light bulb from the light fixture.
Insert the new light bulb into the light fixture and replace the lighting fixture to the light housing. Replace the securing screws with the screwdriver and close the trunk.
