    Instructions

        To a pot on the stove add 3 cups of sugar, ½ of a cup of water, ¼ of a cup of lemon juice, 3 drops of tea Tree essential oil and 4 to 5 drops of Lavender essential oil. The essential oils are optional.

        Over a medium heat, allow the mixture to boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Be sure to stir it constantly to prevent burning.

        Remove the pot from the stove and allow it to cool slightly.

        Pour the mixture into a wide mouth lidded glass jar.

        Store the sugar wax in the refrigerator with all ingredients clearly labeled on the outside of the jar.

        To use the sugar wax: submerge the jar in hot water until the sugar wax become warm and pliable. Use a stick such as a tongue depressor to apply it to the area you are waxing, immediately apply a strip of stiff fabric and press down, pull off quickly to remove hair. Apply wax in the same direction the hair grows and pull fabric off in the opposite direction.
