Measure the thickness of your closet door and purchase a mirror clip set with screws that will fit the thickness of your door. You won't want to insert screws that come out the back of your door.

      • 2

Determine the position of your mirror on the closet door. Hold up the mirror against the closet door and trace a one inch mark on each corner. This will provide you with the locations for each mirror clip.

      • 3

Drill four holes, one on each corner marking you made, using a 1/4-inch drill bit. Be careful not to drill all the way through the door.

      • 4

Insert the drywall anchors into the pre-drilled hole. Use a hammer to gently drive the anchors into the door. Even though you won't be installing the screws into drywall, the anchors will serve as a support and will lessen any further damage to the closet doors.

      • 5

Install the bottom mirror clips using the provided screws, but do not fully tighten them.

      • 6

Insert your mirror onto the bottom clips and make sure that the top clips will line up with the mirror. It's important to make sure that the mirror will fit before tightening the clips. Using a level, make sure that your mirror is level. Secure the bottom clips using the provided screws.

      • 7

Slide the mirror into the top clips and tighten both clips by screwing in the provided screws. Make sure that the mirror is secure and level.
