How to Load a Dishwasher Correctly

1. Place all of your delicate dishes on the top rack. This will protect them from harsh water spray and possible damage.

2. Place any items with tough stains onto the bottom rack. Being lower, closer to the hot water and powerful spray will clean them better.

3. Avoid letting dishes touch each other. Dishes touching or too close can prevent them from getting cleaned properly. Dishes within a close proximity of each other also are more susceptible to breaking if there is movement during the wash.

4. Make sure all cups and bowls are placed face down. This prevents water from pooling and keeps a steady stream of water on your dishes.

5. Stagger your forks and spoons in the utensil bin. Doing this will prevent utensils from "spooning" or "coupling" each other during the wash.
