How to Make a Disposable Razor Last a Long Time
Disposable razors are moderately expensive items that many people dread buying. We use them because they work so much better than electric razors or shavers, but we also hate them because they wear out so quickly. Many people have purchased gimmick devices to make their disposable razors like new again only to find they did not work.
I will teach you a great method to make your disposable razor last much longer. When I use these methods, I can get at least 10 good shaves out of them.

- A toothbrush
- Aloe Vera
- A round toothpick

Buy a good quality disposable razor. The 3 blade kind are the best.

When you are shaving make multiple small strokes instead of heavy broad ones. Each shave stroke should not move over a half inch on your face. Every 3 to 5 stokes, take a toothbrush, and scrub out the hair & scum that is stuck between the blades. Hair and "gunk" build up causes blades to become clogged and bend.

Rinse the razor under high pressured water. Often it is best to shave while in the shower so that you can hold the razor up to the shower head. Rinse the front and back side of the razor head right after you use the tooth brush to scrub it.

After shaving several times, you will notice that your comfort strip begins to wear out. Fix this by completely removing the comfort strip. Snap off the sharp points of a round toothpick to size it to the size of a razor head. Glue it in place. Next apply a bit of aloe vera to the surface of the toothpick in order to make it slick for shaving.
