How to Assemble Tech Deck Fingerboards

While it might sometimes be too inconvenient to go outside and practice your Ollies, kickflips and nosegrinds on your real-sized skateboard, it is never hard to practice these tricks and more while skateboarding with your Tech Deck. Tech Deck is a 96 mm skateboard made to be used with your middle and index fingers. These fingerboards have the same wheels, trucks, grip tape and graphics as the real-sized boards. Tech Decks come fully assembled, but you can change to graphic wheels. Customizing and maintaining your Tech Deck is just part of the fun.

Things You'll Need

  • Tech Deck Tool
  • Four Wheels
  • Turn your Tech Deck over so the the wheels and graphic are facing up.

  • Hold the tool in your fingers and put the ratchet side around the nut inside the wheel. Turn the tool counter-clockwise until the nut is removed.

  • Remove the wheel and replace with a new one. Make sure to have the wheel well facing outward.

  • Slip the nut onto the truck inside the wheel well and turn clockwise until you feel a slight resistance.

  • Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each wheel you want to change.

Tips & Warnings

  • Screws will loosen as time goes by, so keep your Tech Deck tool nearby to tighten the wheels and trucks as they loosen.
  • Painting your trucks give your Tech Deck a further customized look.
  • Do not overtighten the nuts. The nuts strip easily.
  • This toy is not intended for small children because of small parts.
