After using your dish towel to wipe up cooking oil or other greasy messes, it can be difficult get them clean again. It's important to avoid mixing greasy dish towels in with other laundry as the grease may simply get transferred to other clothing items. To properly clean greasy dish towels, follow a few of these quick and easy tips.

Step 1

Clean, rinse and wipe down your sink. Plug it so the water does not drain out.

Fill your sink with hot water.

Step 3

Add a cup of bleach to the your sink.

Step 4

Immerse your dish towels in the sink for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Drain the sink and thoroughly rinse your towels. If necessary, run your towels through the laundry. Dry your towels on high in the dryer.
