How to Curl Satin Ribbon

Curling satin ribbon is extremely easy to do. In only a couple of minutes, you can make beautiful curls of ribbon to use in any way you desire. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Satin ribbon
  • Curling iron
  • Hairspray
  • Clothes iron (optional)

    • 1

      Plug in your curling iron. Set it to low heat and wait for it to warm up.

    • 2

      Wrap the ribbon around the curling iron, exactly the way you would when curling hair. Wait a short while and then remove the ribbon.

    • 3

      Your ribbon will now be curled. If you find that it loses its curl after a while, apply hairspray to set the curls.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want to straighten your ribbon again, for whatever reason, use a clothes iron to smooth it out.
