Measure the width between the inside jambs at the top, middle and bottom of the window using a measuring tape. If the measurements differ, use the smallest measurement.

Measure the height between the top of the window stool and the bottom of the head jamb using a measuring tape. Take three measurements: far left, center and far right. Use the smallest measurement.

Specify the width first, then the height when requesting a quote or ordering new replacement windows.
