How to Fish a Wire Through a Wall

It is a fairly easy process to fish a wire through a wall but if you don't know what you are doing, or which steps to take, it can become difficult.

Things You'll Need

• String
• A small rounded weight

Instructions

1. Get a roll of string in order to guide your wire through the wall with.

2. Get a small rounded piece of metal to weigh down the string. You will need to make sure that it is rounded and small so it doesn't get caught within the wall.

3. Tie the string around the piece of metal.

4. Drop the string into the hole in the wall. There should be two people for this process. One person will need to guide the string into the hole and one will need to watch for it at the bottom.

5. Once the string is through the bottom of the wall you should attach the wire to the string. It doesn't matter which end you attach it to, so just do whatever is easier.

6. Pull the wire through the hole keeping one person at the bottom and one at top.
