Step 1
First you need to get the ingredients which are required for the homemade perfume. For this you will need to have 2 cups of distilled water, 4 tablespoon of ethyl alcohol, 10 drops of the essential bergamot oil and essential lavender oil.
-
Step 2
After this you will need to get an airtight dark bottle for the perfume. As this is a homemade perfume, you should get a glass bottle. Bottles are easily available in the market. Bottles are also available online as well.
-
Step 3
To make the perfume, fill in the bottle with distilled water. After this you should add all the three ingredients i.e. lavender oil, bergamot oil and ethyl alcohol. There is no restriction on the order of the ingredients that are to be mixed so mix them in any order. After you have added all the ingredients, shake the bottle slowly so that all the contents are mixed together. Keep on shaking till contents are fully mixed together.
-
Step 4
Now you need to store the glass bottle in a dry, cool place for 48 hours. Remember to keep it away for sunlight and do not let any contact with the sunlight. After 2 days are up, shake the bottle again gradually.
-
Step 5
Finally, test the perfume. You can use a small dab for testing out the perfume. You perfume is now ready to be used like any other perfume. Note that if you do not like the smell of the perfume or is not satisfied, make a new one but adjust the amount of lavender oil added.
