Make sure the Odyssey is parked on level ground and engage the parking brake for safety. Jack up the front up the vehicle. Look under the front end for the "V" shaped cross member in front of the oil pan. This will be your jacking point for the front.

Use the floor jack to lift the front of the Odyssey by the crossmember. Lift the vehicle until the bottom of the front tires are 2 to 3 inches off the ground.

Place a jack stand on each side of the front, underneath the side jacking points. The side jacking points are 6 to 8 inches behind the front wheels; they will be market by a double-indentation along the bottom of the vehicle.

Twist the handle of the hydraulic jack slowly to bring the vehicle down upon the jack stands. Move the hydraulic jack to the rear of the vehicle and start the procedure over. The rear cross member is close to the vehicle's exhaust system, in the center. The side jacking points are 6 to 8 inches in front of the rear wheels.

Tips & Warnings
The Honda Odyssey weighs about 4600 pounds. Make sure the hydraulic jack and stands are capable of lifting that amount without failure.
Do not attempt to lift the vehicle one side at a time with the emergency jack. This is dangerous because you will have to transfer the emergency jack from the same location as the jack stands go. Only use a hydraulic jack and the front jacking points when lifting the vehicle.
