Things You'll Need:
- One sheet of printer paper
-
Step 1
First pull out your sheet of copy paper and put it on the table where it is sitting long ways. Then fold it in half up and down.
-
Step 2
Now fold it in half again to crease it and then unfold it. Now fold the top two corners down to the center line like your folding a paper airplane.
-
Step 3
Now fold the bottom edges up like you would on the last fold of a paper hat. Now you have a paper hat and you need to turn it into a paper boat.
-
Step 4
Fold the bottom corners in, lapping them over each other, making a triangle.
-
Step 5
Now grab your sheet of paper and hold it by the inside with your thumbs then extend your thumbs and press down on your paper to make a square.
-
Step 6
Hold it with the flaps facing down and fold the corners up to meet the top point. Then flip it over and do the same thing. Now it should look like a triangle again.
-
Step 7
Next grab the inside of the triangle, extend your thumbs, and press down just like you did before on step 5
-
Step 8
At the top there should be two triangles that make the one square. Pull the triangles gently apart.
-
Step 9
Now your paper boat is finished and ready to float

on 11/19/2009 Awesome visuals. Great Article.
The comment by Kay978 is stupid. Maybe if her eyesight was better she could read an article on
"how to follow directions better" before she leaves any more bad comments. It's not your fault she needs better glasses and can't follow directions...sheesh. No wonder her brother is sad!!! He has a !@#$%^& for a sister.
