Draw Vegito

Vegito is one of the more intense characters in the Dragon Ball Z universe. While he initially begins his career as a villain in the series, he soon joins sides with Goku and the rest of his band of martial arts superheroes to battle even more sinister foes. Vegito is cocky, cruel and extremely tough. Drawing Vegito is similar in many ways to drawing other Dragon Ball Z characters. For instance, he possesses the same spiked black hair as many characters and can be depicted in the traditional blue and orange uniform. Drawing a picture of Vegito can be a great way to create an homage to this character.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw Vegito's head with a large oval shape. Create his chest with a rectangular shape below the head. Add a "t" shape in the middle of the face. Draw another horizontal line under the first inside the head. Create Vegito's large shoulder muscles with circles on the upper left and right corners of the rectangle. Add two diagonal lines to the base of each shoulder for arms.

    • 2

Draw Vegito's eyes with two long, thin triangles on the top horizontal guideline inside the face. Draw his nose with a sideways "V" shape just above the lower horizontal guideline inside the face. Add his neck with two diagonal lines coming down from the bottom left and right sides of Vegito's face. Draw his pecs with two large square shapes on the chest. Add biceps and triceps with two curved shapes attached to the arm guidelines.

    • 3

Draw Vegito's eyebrows by adding a curved line just above each eye. Draw a mouth just below the nose with a large square shape. Make the top of this shape larger than the bottom. Add the outline of Vegito's hair with a large diamond shape around his head. Create Vegito's vest with two diagonal bands across the chest.

    • 4

Separate the individual locks of hair by drawing triangular shapes to split the main part of the hair into sections. Add bangs with two curved cone shapes coming from the left and right sides of the forehead. Add pupils with a small circle in the left side of each eye. Draw a parallel line under each eyebrow. Draw a horizontal line across the upper chest to create the undershirt.

    • 5

Erase any lines that you do not wish to make permanent. Ink the entire illustration. Let the ink dry, and carefully erase the pencil.

    • 6

Color the illustration with art markers. Color the hair and eyebrows black. Color the skin beige, the vest blue and the undershirt orange. Add shadows with tan around the forehead, under the eyes, and under the chin. Use dark blue to add shadows along the inside edge of the vest.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make a photocopy of the image in step 5 so that you can color the illustration without ruining the finished drawing.

  • Be sure to place a sheet of paper under your illustration while you are coloring, as the ink can bleed through the page.
