Rit is a fabric dye that is available at many craft, discount and grocery stores. It can be used to liven up older garments, or to change the look of new ones. Dying with Rit is easy, and requires no specialized tools. Cotton fabrics take the dye best, but Rit can be used on almost any textile. Rit is available in both powder and liquid form, but the dying method is the same.
