Dump the contents of the potty chair into the toilet. Make sure to dislodge any solid matter.

Rinse the potty chair out with clean water from a faucet.

Mix one part bleach with two parts hot water. Fill the basin of the chair with this solution and allow it to soak for five minutes.

Dip a towel into the bleach solution and wipe down all the surfaces on the potty chair. Pay special attention to the lip area on the basin and the area behind it.

Dump the bleach solution into the toilet. Rinse the basin thoroughly with clean hot water to remove any bleach traces.

Wipe the rest of the chair thoroughly with a clean towel wetted with hot water to remove the bleach solution. Wash the towels in hot water to disinfect.

Tips & Warnings
Leave 1 inch of water in the potty chair at all times to make solid waste easier to clean up. Oxygenated bleach disinfects as well as household bleach and it is non-toxic.
Never mix bleach with any other chemical as it can produce harmful fumes. Rinse items well and wash hands after using bleach to avoid skin irritation.
