Things You'll Need:
- phone number of recipient
- internet
- email account
- the recipient's cell phone provider
-
Step 1
Emailing text messages to any phone can be a very helpful tip to know how to do. It can save you lots of money on text message fees and costs. Also, if you have a phone with an email client, you can email text messages to any phone and never pay money for text messages. The most difficult thing about emailing text messages to any phone is that you need to know the cell phone provider of the person you are texting. It may be a good idea to ask people whom you text frequently what their cell phone carrier is.
-
Step 2
Next, you will need to go into your email and compose an email in order to email text messages to any phone. Remember to keep the text short because most people have limited space to receive their text message. You can also send picture messages this way for free!
-
Step 3
For the intended recipient of your text message, you will need to use the following email addresses:
For Sprint: phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
For Verizon: phonenumber@vtext.com
For T-Mobile: phonenumber@tmomail.net
For AT&T: phonenumber@txt.att.net
For AIM: +1phonenumber
For MetroPCS: phonenumber@mymetropcs.com
