Instructions

    • 1

Fold the first side of the latch hook canvas under so that the fold is on the back side of the latch hook. Press the canvas firmly to make a fold line.

    • 2

Match the holes of the folded part to the rest of the canvas. The fold should be about 1 inch. The fold holes and the canvas holes should match up perfectly. If they do not, do not worry because you only need enough room to insert the latch hook tool.

    • 3

Hold the canvas in place with your hand and insert the latch hook tool through the hole in the front and the folded canvas. Wrap a piece of yarn around the tool and then pull the tool back through. The yarn will be knotted and secured to the folded and front side of the canvas. Pull the yarn to make sure it is secure and tight.

Continue Step 3 all around the project. As you work with the corners, fold the canvas under on 1 side and then on the other side of the corner. This will triple the fold. Just make sure the fold is square.
