If you're fortunate enough to have a Lladro porcelain figurine, you might wonder what it's worth now. It's good to know for insurance purposes or maybe you're just curious. Here's how to find out what the value is of a Lladro figurine.

1. 

   Take a look at the books on the topic of collecting Lladro porcelain figures. The public library can get them for you on interlibrary loan, or if you want to buy them, there is always Amazon (I've included the links below). Here are some titles to look for: Collecting Lladro: Identification & Price Guide by Peggy Whiteneck and Lladro Authorized Reference Guide by Lladro USA
   Just make sure you get the newest edition.

2. See what the official Lladro website has about your figure. Check in the historical catalog at lladro.com. You can search by number (look on the bottom of your figurine). You can also look by theme, such as ballet or angels to find yours. If you can't find your figurine, contact their customer service. Once you have the name of the figure, you'll have more success checking its value.

3. A handy website created by Janet Hammer deals in the resale of Lladro figures. You find it at aretiredcollection.com. To look up your Lladro figurines there, you need to register. It gives the name, sculptor, date the pieces was issued and when it was retired, plus the current value and original sale price. You can even use the site to catalog your collection. This site will sell your figure if you want to do that.
