How to Make A Sandwich Board
You can make a quick and easy sandwich board for your business or yard sales. It measures 2 feet x 2 feet. The materials can be found at any hardware store. I made this sandwich board partially out of recycled wood from a pallet. I used it to advertise my yard sales. Everything can be adjusted according to your needs and materials you have on hand.
Things You'll Need
- 2 Board 1" x 6" x 4'-0"
- Panels- Particle board or plywood 24" x 23'
- Saw
- Drill & drill bit
- Screws
- Waterproof wood glue
- Sand paper
- 2 hinges
- Wood primer
- Paint- exterior latex
- Chain or rope- 2'

Cut 4 legs 24" long.

Position the legs on the back edges of each panel to check the fit. Leave 1" at the bottom esge for the feet (See picture). Drill pilot holes in each leg - 2 in the top and bottom and 2 in the middle.

Apply glue, reposition the legs on the panels, and attach using screws.

Position and the hinges on the top of each leg. Attach with screws. Drill pilot holes if needed. Do this to both legs on one panel.

Leaving panel with hinges in same position, position the other panel, make sure both panels are aligned. Attach to hinges in the same manor.

Prime and paint each panel section. Allow to dry completely.

Stand your new sandwich board up. Determine the maximum position. Attach the chain of rope with screws to both sides.
