Drawing a rubber duck is a simple task for a beginner drawer. The head and body are made up of basic circular shapes, making it easy to plan out the drawing before getting into the details. Little shading is needed as rubber ducks are made of rounded plastic and have a cartoonish look.

      Loosely draw out the shape of the rubber duck.

      Loosely draw out the shapes that make up the rubber duck. The head is a circle, the body is an oblong oval, and the beak and tail are smaller ovals.

      Draw a small circle on the head, marking where the eye will go. Also draw the outline of the wing, which is basically an oval with an "m" shape at the end, signifying the tips of the wing.
