How to Move PC Taskbar
For whatever reason, you may have decided you want to move your Taskbar from its default position at the bottom of the screen. Windows lets you move the Taskbar to any side of the screen. This lets you customize it for the way you work, change it temporarily to experiment with different configurations or move it because of technical issues with your monitor.

Right-click the Taskbar and make sure the "Lock the Taskbar" option is not selected. If it is, click it to remove the lock.

Click and hold with the left mouse button on any blank part of the Taskbar. Drag it to either side of the screen, or to the top, depending on where you want to see it.

Click and drag the size of the Taskbar in its new location to make it taller or shorter as needed. Repeat the procedure if you don't like it in its new location.

Tips & Warnings
There is often a way of moving the task bar through your system settings, that is the Control Panel's Display and Personalization Settings, however right clicking and dragging is so much quicker and easier, the other method is rarely used.
