How to Make a Latch Hook Rug Pillow

Latch hook rugs come in many different design kits, and can easily be made into pillows. Latch hook rug pillows are easy to make, and the materials are readily available at any craft store.

Things You'll Need:

• Latch hook rug kit
• Fusible hem tape
• Pillow
• Scissors
• Pins
• Iron

1. Complete the latch hook rug according to the directions on the kit.

2. Cut a square of material slightly larger than the pillow.

3. 
    
   A square pillow works well.

   Lay the latch hook rug on top of the pillow. Place the material under the pillow.

4. Line up the edges of the rug and material. Fold the edges inward and place the hem tape in between the two pieces of material. Pin the material together, working all the way around the pillow.

5. Iron around the edges of the pillow to seal the hem tape to both edges.
