Instructions

    • 1

Attach the picture hanging wire to the painting with two screws, locating the screws 3 inches from the top of the painting and twisting the wire around each of the screws and back on itself securely.

    • 2

Measure the location where you want the painting to hang, marking a light line on the wall where you want the top of the painting.

    • 3

Locate the wooden stud that the drywall is attached to using a stud finder and marking the spot even with the top hanging line. Wall studs are usually 16 inches apart, so you will have some leeway in where to hang the painting.

    • 4

Screw in a heavy-duty picture hook on the spot that you marked, making sure the screw goes securely into the stud.

    • 5

Hang your picture by placing the wire onto the wall hook, sliding it gently on the wire to center the painting.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your painting is wide, you can place hooks on two studs to distribute the weight more evenly.
