How to Make Removable Tattoo Paint

You can make your own washable body paint at home.

Many children love getting removable tattoos and having their face painted. But you don't have to wait for the county fair to treat your child to this activity. You and your child can make removable tattoo paint at home with just a few ingredients. This simple paint can be applied with a cotton swab or small paintbrush and washes off with soap and water.

Things You'll Need

• 1 tablespoon cold cream
• 2 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1 tablespoon water
• Food coloring
• Small bowl
• 3 or 4 small, resealable plastic containers

Instructions

1. Put the cold cream and cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir in the water until the mixture is smooth.

2. Divide the mixture into the small plastic containers. Put a few drops of food coloring into each container, making each a different color.

3. Stir until the color is consistent throughout.

• Tattoo paint is great for a child's birthday party. If you have someone on your guest list who can make simple tattoos, recruit them to paint tattoos at your party.

• Paint can be used to create cool Halloween masks or masquerade character.
