1
Buy your supplies. You can find supplies for your Mardi Gras mask at any craft or art supply store. You will need a blank Mardi Gras mask, which comes as a black, white or colored mask with elastic. You will also need any decorations that you want to put on your mask. Some of the best supplies will sparkle and shine, like sequins, glitter and colorful feathers. You will also need glue that can hold the glitter feathers, and sequins to your mask, such as tacky glue or craft glue.

Glue on your glitter. Spread a thin layer of glue on your mask and sprinkle on as much glitter as you want to have on your mask. Make sure that you do not make your glue layer too thick or it will take a long time to dry. Let your glittery layer dry completely before you add any other decorations. Once it is dry, shake off any excess glitter.

Glue on your decorations. You can attach feather and sequins by dropping a dollop of glue on your mask, and pressing the feathers or sequins on individually. If you attach the decorations in a pattern or in rows, it can add to the beauty and professionalism of your Mardi Gras mask. If you want to layer your decorations, let the first layer dry before adding other layers. Once your mask is decorated how you like it and is completely dry, you can wear it to your special event.
