    • Barrel brush Ramrod Flannel rags Solvent Gun oil

        Remove the magazine and double check that the gun is unloaded.

        Press the disassembly latch lease. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it stops.

        Pull the slide assembly forward.

      • 4

        Press the recoil spring assembly forward. Lift it out.

      • 5

        Remove the barrel from the slide.

      • 6

        Apply solvent to the brush and use it to scrub the inside of the barrel. Take the ramrod and thread a flannel rag through the end to clean the barrel.

        Apply a little oil to a fresh rag. Use it to lightly oil the inside of the barrel with the ramrod. Use a second lightly oiled rag to oil all other exposed metal parts, such as the slide and barrel.

        Spray a little gun oil on the recoil spring.
