Instructions

    • 1

In Microsoft Word (or a similar word-processing program), create the message for your banner. Make it as long as you like, but keep in mind that it will take a significant amount of time and ink to print page-size solid letters; try to keep it short and sweet.

    • 2

Pick a font style. Make the message as readable as possible, but to save ink, consider selecting one of the thinner fonts that takes up less space on the page.

    • 3

Change the font size so each letter fits onto one page. Use Print Preview to make sure that each page features a single letter.

    • 4

Print the banner one letter per page.

    • 5

Connect the pages with ribbon by stapling or using double-sided tape to attach the top of each page to a single strand of colored ribbon. You can also connect the pages by taping the top right hand corner of one page to the next.

    • 6

Attach the banner flat against the wall with double-sided tape. If you've used ribbon, you can hang the banner by the ends of the ribbon.
