Fold a Simple Origami Swan
Fold a Simple Origami Swan

This is a step by step instructions on making a very simple origami swan. So easy, even kids can do this! Origami is the art of folding paper.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • square white paper
  • pen or pencil
  1. Step 1

Lay your sheet flat on the table. Fold it half, then unfold.

  2. Step 2

Grab the left and right corner and fold it to the center line.

  3. Step 3

Turn the diagram over to the back, you should see it as a plain looking kite. Fold both sides toward the middle line.

  4. Step 4

Grab the bottom tip and fold it all the way to the top tip.

  5. Step 5

Fold the tip on the top downwards. It should look like the picture on the right side.

  6. Step 6

Fold the diagram backwards in half. You should see the side view like the picture on the right.

  7. Step 7

Grab the piece on the side and lift it upwards to form the swan's neck.

  8. Step 8

Pull out the 'head' of the swan gently. Take your pencil and draw a dot for it's eye.
