The thermal fuse will be located inside the exhaust vent. It will be identified as a white plastic bar that plugs in by way of two metal sprockets. Remove the old thermal fuse, and replace by snapping the new fuse into place. To identify the thermal fuse appropriate to your Kenmore model, consult your local Sears or your Kenmore dryer owners manual.
