Make big flowers from kleenex tissues.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A box of kleenex tissues, string.
  1. Step 1

First you open your box of kleenex and take out however many tissues you would like to make your flower. Then you unfold each tissue and lay it flat on the table. Probably would be best to start with about 10 tissues, because they are doubled.

  2. Step 2

Fold in an accordian style, first one way, then the other way, and so on. hold it tight. Take a piece of string and tie around the center of your tissues. Tie it tight.

  3. Step 3

Then stretch the two sides out a little bit. Very carefully starting with the top tissue start pulling each piece up towards the center. Do this with every piece. Do a little arranging and you have a pretty flower. You can use one color or mix colors. You can also get some stiff wire and wind around center of flower to stand them in a vase.

Tips & Warnings
  • We have made lots of these flowers and tied them together on a long string to decorate cars at a wedding party.

on 8/22/2009 I love making crafts! I used to do tissue paper flowers all the time as a kid! If you ever get sick of the flowers, just use them again by combining them with other paper products and making paper! :)
