How to Make a Flower Girl Crown
Next to the bride, the flower girl is the most remembered person in the bridal party when it comes to what she was wearing. A simple crown made of wire, ribbon and flowers can make your flower girl look like a little princess who'll be the talk of the wedding. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Coiled florist wire
- Wire cutters
- Pliers
- Florist tape
- 6 to 8 stems of silk flowers or ivy
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- 4 yards of 1/4-inch ribbon
- Scissors
- Jewels (optional)
Instructions

Measure the flower girl's head with the wire.

Trim the wire to fit but leave some extra length at each end.

Twist the ends of the wire together with the pliers.

Wrap the wire with floral tape.

Wrap the wire with the 1/4-inch ribbon and hot glue the ends.

Attach small bunches of flowers or ivy to leaves with hot glue. Continue until the headpiece is covered.

Attach more ribbon to the back of the crown. Tie the ribbon in the middle around the wire and trim to the desired length.

Glue single jewels to any empty spaces or glue strings of jewels to the crown in a loop.

Tips & Warnings
You can substitute tulle for ribbon.
