Things You'll Need:
- PhotoshopCS3
- 2 or more images to merge
-
Step 1
photomerge screenshotFirst, open up PhotoshopCS3. Then click on File>automate>Photo merge. Click on the screen shot to view more.
-
Step 2
Choose your filesNext step is to choose two photos to use in the photo merge as well as choose what setting. I always just use "auto", since photoshop does a really wonderful job of merging the two images together. Of course it works better if you have to images that are the same color and horizon.
-
Step 3
the remaining imageStep 3 is about combining the images together. This part may take a few minutes as all the images are combined and leveled. This does eat up a good chunk of CPU to do. After it's all done you can see remaining image. Please view the image to see more.
-
Step 4
preview of the cropNow that your images are combined and you have seen your final result..I am quite sure you do not like the original outcome, there are corrections that need to be made. First you will need to basically crop the image to get the desired result for your panoramic. Please view image for more info. (When cropping be sure width and height are clear so that you can control what you crop!!!)
-
Step 5
panoramic image after croppedNow let's take a look at the final photo merged image.

Step 6
I hope this article has served you well and you put lots of use to it. I do put time and energy into each article. Good luck on your next panoramic!
