Instructions

    • 1

Set up your background and pose your Legos for the first frame. Once you have everything set up the way you want it, take the picture.

    • 2

Make a slight change to represent movement. Don't make the changes too big or the movie will look choppy. I recommend only moving two blocks at a time. Once you've set up the second frame, take another picture. Continue doing this until you've shot all the frames.

If you used a camcorder with stop-motion, your camcorder did the hard work for you, so you're all done. If you need to edit the video, you can upload the video to your computer and edit with a video-editing program such as Windows Movie Maker.
If you used a camera to take individual pictures, you'll need to upload each picture to your computer and assemble each frame in a video-editing program. If you're using WMM, just import your pictures and put them in order. Once you've added all of the pictures, you can import sounds to match each frame.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're using a digital camera, make sure the flash is off.

  • Making a Lego movie takes a lot of time and patience. It could take a few weeks to finish the entire movie.
