How to make a hair bow holder. Hair bow board.

This a great way to organize your daughters hairbows. Theres so many different ways to make these. This is the way I make them, but be creative and come up with your own ideas.

Things You'll Need:

• Mounted art canvas.
• Fabric about 2-3in. bigger than the canvas.
• Wide-width grosgrain ribbon.
• Scissors.
• Hotglue gun.

1. Lay fabric flat, right side down.
   Center canvas face down on the backside of the fabric.

2. Use glue gun to apply glue to back side of canvas frame. Apply to first edge only at this point.
   Bring edge of fabric back around and press firm while glue is still warm. Make sure front of fabric lays smooth across the front of the canvas as you are gluing edges.

3. Flip frame around and do the opposite side, making sure to pull VERY tight.
   At this point, you have two opposite sides glued firm.

4. Trim excess fabric from the two sides you have already glued.
   Cut corners to a point, leaving only as much fabric as you will need. At this time, you should go back and work on the two sides you have not glued, using instructions from above in the tutorial.

5. Pull unglued corners tight.
   Apply glue at an angle and fasten down the corners.

6. We are ready to begin attaching the ribbon. We will first attach between four and six lengths of ribbon vertically, top to bottom. Measure ribbon so that it fits across the canvas, with some overlap.

7. Glue ends of ribbon to back edge of canvas frame. Do NOT attach to the front of the canvas.

8. Before gluing the other side of the ribbon to the opposite edge of the canvas back, slip your hand underneath the ribbon as it lays on the canvas. There should ideally be enough slack that you can easily fit your hand underneath.
   Repeat at even intervals across canvas so that you have between four and six vertical lengths evenly across your canvas.

9. Your last length of ribbon should be cut long enough to fit horizontally across the canvas, with some overlap. Attach with glue to underside of frame on one side only. Ideally, this should be attached about an inch from the top of the canvas.

10. Weave this length over and under the vertical strips. Then, attach loose end to the back of the canvas on the opposite side.
    To give your bow board a finished look in back, attach wide grosgrain ribbon all along the back frame, using your glue gun.

11. Any type of ribbon can be attached on the top for use as a hanger or hook. In our tutorial we have used tulle. Make a bow out of the ribbon, leaving long tails. Glue the tails of bow to the back of your frame, several inches apart.
