Make Tye Dye Shirts With Spray Paint

How to make tye dye shirts by using spray paint. After using spray paint you will not go back to the dye.

Instructions

Step 1

First you want to make sure that you have at least three colors to work with the more colors the better. Next you want to find a well ventilated area. Spread newspaper out on a flat surface now lay your shirt on top of the paper.
Step 2

Once you have the shirt layed out, place your hand in the center of the shirt and twist. This will make the spiral design. You can also use rubber bands but I find this to be much quicker especially if you have multiple shirts.
Step 3

After you have completed the twist pick the color you want and spray the twisted area that color. Continue this procedure on the front and back with multiple colors. Make sure you allow the paint to dry between colors.

Tips & Warnings

Any spray paint seems to work
When buying tee-shirts you should try to purchase Hanes I found fruit of the loom Tee-shirts is a very thin material which allows paint to sink through.
Avoid breathing paint fumes. Wear a mask if needed
