Things You'll Need:
- Money
- Computer with internet access
-
Step 1
Shop on Christmas Eve. Every year on Christmas Eve, most decorations are reduced by 50 percent. It is the perfect time to buy your decorations and Christmas or holiday cards.
-
Step 2
Buy your decorations after the holidays. The best time to shop for decorations is after the Christmas holidays. When Christmas rolls around again (and it will), you will be set. All your new lights, a new tree and any other item you want will be ready and you will have gotten it for as much as 70% to 80% less than the original advertised price.
-
Step 3
Use internet shopping to get what you want. Many local stores will not have the items you want so check the internet. Often store warehouses are overstocked with items they would love to sell so do not assume that because the Wal-Mart, Kmart or Macy you visit do not have what you want, that you cannot get it. Search the internet and buy your Christmas decorations at half price.
